ABOUT GFTC
GFTC is a friendly club welcoming new members and shooters of all ages and abilities.

We meet on Sunday and Wednesday mornings all year round, and Thursday evenings during the summer months (Please check our Facebook page for updates, as we do sometimes close due to bad weather).
​
The club provides an organised environment where members are able to shoot UK legal (sub-12 foot-pounds) air rifles at distances of up to 55 Yards.
​
The club is fully insured and affiliated to the British Field Target Association (BFTA) and the North East Field Target Association (NEFTA).
Some of our members compete in Field Target (FT) and Hunter Field Target (HFT) disciplines, but many just enjoy shooting in the outdoors.
​
We do not allow the shooting of live quarry on club grounds, and please be aware that it can be rough underfoot, therefore appropriate footwear is advised, especially in the winter months.
​
Many members have years of shooting experience, and enjoy sharing that knowledge to help and advise newcomers to the sport.
​
Your first visit is free, and from then on you may pay £4 per visit, or alternatively subscribe £60 for the year's membership (half price for under 18's)
